Entry Bans Due to Forest Fire Risks

With the arrival of summer, the risk of forest fires is increasing. Entry to forested areas in Eskişehir and Afyonkarahisar is banned.
The Eskişehir Forest Regional Directorate took this decision due to expected above-normal temperatures during the summer. The ban will be in effect until September 30.
Afyonkarahisar will also implement a similar ban. Under this ban, nature walks and bicycle tours will not be allowed. Controlled fires are strictly prohibited.
In Çanakkale, entry to forests will be banned starting June 1. The governor's office announced new measures against the risk of forest fires.
Karabük is also implementing similar bans. The governor's office called on citizens to be vigilant in protecting the forests. Remember, our forests are our lungs.
