Landslides and Soil Erosion Disasters in Turkey

Recently, various regions in Turkey have experienced landslides and soil erosion incidents. This situation has particularly disrupted transportation.
In Bahçeli village of Bulancak district in Giresun, a landslide blocked the Bulancak-Kovanlık road. Fortunately, there were no casualties, and teams quickly intervened to reopen the road for single-lane traffic.
In Karabük, a landslide occurred in Ovacık district after heavy snowfall, blocking the village road. Alternative routes are being used to maintain access.

In the Karakurt region, large boulders fell onto the road, halting transportation. Teams quickly intervened to clear the road and restore traffic.

In Düzce, a similar situation occurred. In Beyköy town, a landslide happened due to melting snow, blocking access to 4 villages and 2 neighborhoods. Teams are working to reopen the road.
