A tragic fire disaster in Nazilli, Aydın, has devastated firefighter Turgay Gezgin's life. He lost his wife and two children in the fire.

The fire broke out in Turgay Gezgin's home in Yeşil Mahalle early in the morning. The cause of the fire is still unknown. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, but the tragic news followed.

In the fire, Turgay Gezgin's wife Fatma and children Deniz (12) and Toprak (4) lost their lives. Turgay, upon learning of the incident, fainted.

The Nazilli District Governor and Mayor visited the scene to offer their condolences. The funeral was held at Gülistan Mosque, attended by many people.

In 2015, Turgay Gezgin saved a woman trapped in a fire and was hailed as a 'hero firefighter'. Now, he is experiencing the pain of losing his own family.
