In İlkadım district, a couple named İsa and Hale Kereci suffered a significant loss after encountering a fake investment video on social media. The fraudsters took their loans, gold, and savings, plunging them into debt.

In China, a similar incident occurred. A man named Liu was defrauded of 1 million TL by believing in a fake girlfriend created by AI. The fraudsters trapped him with realistic AI images and fake documents.

73-year-old Ersin Aşka also lost 10,200 TL by believing in investment videos created with AI. He became suspicious when the fraudsters asked for his e-Government password and reported the situation to the police.

Experts emphasize the need to be cautious against AI fraud. It is crucial to be careful, especially regarding financial requests in virtual relationships.
