A major operation was conducted against a criminal organization in Istanbul and Yalova, resulting in 17 arrests!

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced via social media that 17 suspects were arrested in an operation targeting an organized crime group led by a convict in prison. The operation took place in Gaziosmanpaşa, Eyüpsultan, and Sultangazi districts of Istanbul, as well as in Yalova.

The suspects are being investigated for charges including "attempted murder", "intentional injury", "threat", "damage to property", "deprivation of liberty", "usury", and "drug use".

Minister Yerlikaya emphasized that they will not allow such criminal organizations to disturb the peace of the citizens. Further details and results of the operation will be announced soon.
