A significant operation against DAESH was conducted in Istanbul.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office arrested 6 individuals linked to the DAESH terrorist organization. These individuals were identified during an investigation into the organization's financial sources.

Teams identified individuals suspected of being connected to DAESH and conducted simultaneous operations across 3 districts. Numerous digital materials and unlicensed firearms were seized during these operations.

The arrested suspects are believed to have connections to conflict zones and pose a threat to Turkey. Efforts to capture other suspects are ongoing.

This operation once again demonstrates the determination of security forces in Istanbul to combat terrorism. It is expected that such operations will continue to ensure the safety of citizens.
