CHP Chairman Özgür Özel was attacked during the funeral of Sırrı Süreyya Önder. The attacker Tengioğlu is appearing before the judge for the fourth time.

The case is being heard for 'intentional injury due to the performance of a public duty' with a penalty of up to 4.5 years in prison. The hearing started at 10:40.

After the incident, the attacker Tengioğlu was arrested and detained. Investigations revealed that the hotel he was staying in was unlicensed and it was sealed off.
