Students took to the streets to raise awareness about housing issues!

MSKÜ students gathered in front of the Milli Piyango Dormitory, demanding a solution to the housing problem. Cem Özben, the Muğla Provincial President of the Turkish Youth Union (TGB), emphasized that the right to housing is a fundamental right.

Özben stated, "Today we are either struggling with exorbitant rent prices or left at the mercy of private dormitories, real estate agents, and opportunists." He pointed out the urgent need for state institutions to take action to meet students' housing needs.

Proposed solutions include increasing the capacity of state dormitories and establishing temporary accommodation areas. Students demand that their right to housing be secured.
