A tragedy unfolded in the divorce case in Trabzon's Beşikdüzü district. Sinem Somun was shot and killed by her husband, Ali Eren Somun.

The incident occurred after a dispute between Sinem and her husband during their divorce process. Sinem was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately could not be saved despite all efforts.

Ali Eren Somun fled the scene on a motorcycle but was later apprehended in Sinop. The aftermath of the incident highlighted the threats and difficulties Sinem faced during her divorce.

Sinem's family shared their experiences regarding the threats from Ali Eren. Sinem was set to start her captaincy in just ten days, and her life was just beginning.
