A new intersection project is being implemented in Yomra to ease traffic!

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that they have started working on a new generation intersection application at the Yomra entrance to ease traffic flow in Trabzon. This project was designed considering the increasing traffic volume due to the interest of local and foreign tourists.

The average daily traffic value at the Yomra entrance has reached 72,000. Uraloğlu stated that the existing intersection is insufficient and aims to reduce the transition time by half with the new model.

With the new generation intersection project, the vehicle storage areas will be increased by 5 times, and the signalization system will be reduced from 4 phases to 2 phases. This will significantly reduce traffic congestion.

It was noted that the construction of the project began on July 28 and is aimed to be operational by the end of August. A new era in transportation is starting in Yomra!
