What Will the Weather Be Like During Eid al-Adha?

As Eid al-Adha approaches, the weather forecast has become a topic of interest. The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced the expected weather conditions during the holiday.

The country is expected to be partly and mostly cloudy, with rain and thunderstorms in the western Marmara, southern and eastern Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and some areas of Eastern Anatolia.

Temperatures are expected to remain around seasonal norms, with winds generally blowing from the north at light to moderate strength.

Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen stated that no rain is expected in Istanbul, but there may be heavy rainfall in some parts of Anatolia, particularly in Ankara and its surroundings.

During the holiday, temperatures are expected to rise to 30 degrees. Therefore, it is advised to avoid staying under the sun for long periods.

Especially in holiday regions, temperatures may exceed 35 degrees, so caution is advised. No rain is expected during Eid, which is good news for holiday plans.
