Breaking news! Public transport will be free on May 1 and 19!

According to the decision signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, public transport will be free on May 1, Labor and Solidarity Day, and May 19, Youth and Sports Day. Passengers using Başkentray, Marmaray, İZBAN, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System Line, and Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport-Arnavutköy Metro Line will not pay any fare on these dates.

This initiative will allow citizens to take advantage of public transport services more during the holiday. This will not only ease transportation but also enhance the holiday spirit.

Citizens are advised to use public transport to avoid potential congestion. It is emphasized that especially during holiday days, it is better to avoid using private vehicles.
