Transportation will be free on April 23rd!

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that public transportation will be free in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir on April 23rd. On this special day, lines such as Marmaray, Sirkeci-Kazlıçeşme Rail System, and Gayrettepe-Istanbul Airport Metro will provide free service.

Minister Uraloğlu stated that these lines will provide all citizens with fast, easy, and economical transportation. Additionally, it is expected that bridges and highways will also be free on April 23rd.

Residents of Istanbul can personalize their Istanbulkart to benefit from free public transport. Special events for children will also be organized during this holiday.
