A shooting incident at Florida State University has shocked the world. One person has died, and six others are injured.

Authorities have reported that a suspect connected to the shooting has been taken into custody. Numerous police and ambulances were dispatched to the scene, and students and staff were safely evacuated.

At the time of the incident, it was reported that 42,000 students were on campus. One of the injured is in critical condition.

Witnesses reported hearing 15 to 20 gunshots. One witness stated that a young man exited the Student Union building with a gun, causing panic among those nearby.
