Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu called on the citizens of Yozgat to gather for early elections. He urged everyone to stand against the March 19 Civil Coup.

Imamoğlu stated on social media, "The people's will is being upheld. Greetings to my fellow citizens from Yozgat!" He also sent greetings to the youth.

Imamoğlu invited the people of Yozgat and neighboring provinces to Cumhuriyet Square at 14:00. "I will be watching the gathering from prison; think of me as right beside you," he said.

Calling for early elections, Imamoğlu stated, "We must stand against this government that disregards the people and ruins the economy."
