Syria, Jordan, and the US Agree on a Joint Roadmap

Syria, Jordan, and the US have agreed on a joint roadmap for the Druze city of Sweida. This agreement aims to enhance security in the region and continue humanitarian aid.

Syria's Foreign Minister Esad Hasan Sheybani, Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi, and the US Special Representative for Syria, Tom Barrack, met in the capital Damascus. After the meeting, it was announced that a ceasefire would be established and humanitarian aid would continue uninterrupted.

The agreement also includes the investigation of those who harm civilians and the accountability of those responsible. Additionally, compensation will be paid to the affected and villages will be repaired.

An internal reconciliation process will be initiated with the participation of all components of the Sweida population. This process is critical for establishing peace and stability in the region.
