Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held an important meeting with Qatari Prime Minister Al-Thani. This meeting is of great significance for Turkey-Qatar relations.

Fidan is in Qatar for the Extraordinary Joint Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League. The meeting focuses on regional issues and cooperation opportunities.

During the meeting, efforts to achieve a ceasefire in Gaza and preparations for upcoming meetings regarding Palestine were discussed. Fidan expressed appreciation for Qatar's mediation efforts in this regard.

Minister Fidan is visiting Qatar for the third time this year. This visit is expected to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.
