Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's ASEAN Diplomacy Continues

Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is conducting important diplomatic engagements at the ASEAN summit.
Attending the 58th Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Malaysia, Fidan met with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. The discussions covered political and economic issues, as well as defense industry topics.

Minister Fidan also met with Brunei's Second Foreign Minister Erywan Yusof to discuss regional cooperation. Additionally, he held talks with Papua New Guinea's Foreign Minister Justin Tkachenko.

ASEAN is an important union of Southeast Asian countries established to ensure regional peace and stability. Founded in 1967, it aims to promote economic growth and cultural development.
Minister Fidan expressed gratitude for Malaysia's hospitality and emphasized that this meeting provides a significant opportunity for Turkey-ASEAN cooperation.
