Historic Agreement Between SDG and Damascus in Syria

A significant development has occurred in Syria. An agreement has been reached between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDG) and the Damascus government regarding the evacuation of ISIS members from the El Hol camp.
This agreement foresees the establishment of a joint mechanism for the return of Syrians in the camp to government-controlled areas. Officials stated that this agreement was reached during a meeting attended by local and international representatives.

The agreement was made between the Syrian interim government and the SDG. In this context, the goal is to send approximately 9,000 ISIS members to areas under Damascus control.
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that Turkey views the YPG as a terrorist organization and is ready to cooperate with regional countries to resolve the issues in the area.
This agreement is considered a critical step for the future of Syria. How the international community will support this process remains a topic of interest.
