Italy Supports Syrian Projects with 50 Million Euros

Italy announced it will provide 50 million euros in support for projects in Syria. This support will contribute to Syria's economic recovery.
Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani met with Syria's Foreign Minister Esad Hasan Sheybani in Rome. After the meeting, a press statement emphasized the need for a peaceful transition process in Syria.
Tajani stated that the transition process in Syria should be managed inclusively. He also expressed that the Syrian government has committed to protecting all citizens.
Sheybani emphasized the importance of strengthening relations with Italy and opening a new chapter. He thanked Italy for its humanitarian aid and contributions to reconstruction.
