EU Signs 3 Million Euro Agreement with Kazakhstan

The European Union has signed an important agreement with Kazakhstan!
Josef Sikela, Member of the European Commission responsible for International Cooperation, met with Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu during his visit. The two sides evaluated projects in critical areas such as transportation and logistics.
Nurtleu emphasized Kazakhstan's determination to enhance its partnership with the EU. Sikela pointed out that Kazakhstan is a strategic partner.
Following the meeting, a credit guarantee agreement worth 200 million euros was signed between the European Investment Bank and the Kazakhstan Development Bank. Additionally, a contract was made for the development of projects valued at 3 million euros.
Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed Sikela, emphasizing that Kazakhstan continues to be a key partner for the EU in Central Asia.
Sikela noted the importance of this visit, stating that his decision to visit all five Central Asian countries clearly confirms the EU's intention to establish deeper and more sustainable relations with Kazakhstan and other states in the region.
