According to experienced reporter Jenan Moussa, HTS, affiliated with the Syrian army, has launched operations against remnants of the regime in Tartus and Lazkiye. These developments could change the course of conflicts in the region.

HTS acted after announcing the establishment of the Syrian Liberation Forces Military Council. This group claims to fight against the atrocities and human trafficking committed by jihadists.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 70 people have died in the clashes, including security forces and civilian casualties.

The ambush in Ceble has provoked a strong reaction from HTS. Reinforcements have been sent from Idlib, and further escalation of the conflict is expected.

Reports indicate that calls for jihad have been made from mosques in HTS's stronghold, Idlib. This situation deepens the sectarian atmosphere in the region.

The dilemma for Syria's new rulers is that if they do not neutralize the Alawite center on the coast, they risk losing control of Western Syria, similar to the Kurdish and Druze regions.
