Fatih Erbakan made significant statements to strengthen ties with MHP.

Yeniden Refah Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan stated that the issue of alliances was raised in his meeting with Saadet Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan. He expressed that a decision was made for the two parties to meet more frequently.

Erbakan also commented on the tension arising from İmralı with MHP, stating that he found it difficult to understand the reactions from MHP.

Despite being labeled a small party, Erbakan emphasized that the Renewed Welfare Party has more votes than MHP with 652,000 members.

Erbakan highlighted the economic difficulties in Turkey and stated that they discussed justice and foreign policy issues. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the two parties in the pre-election period.
