President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan officially welcomed Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili. This significant meeting is seen as a major step towards strengthening relations between the two countries.

The ceremony took place in front of the Presidential Complex. Horsemen accompanied Kavelashvili's official vehicle to the protocol gate. The national anthems of both countries were played by the band.

Erdoğan and Kavelashvili presented their delegations to each other. They will participate in a joint press conference after their bilateral talks.

President Erdoğan will host an official dinner in honor of Kavelashvili. Such meetings contribute to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

During the discussions, topics such as increasing trade targets between Turkey and Georgia and enhancing regional cooperation will be addressed.
