President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had an important phone conversation with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev. This meeting addressed the relations between the two countries and regional issues.

Erdoğan emphasized the development of relations between Turkey and Bulgaria in every field. He noted that efforts to advance cooperation in defense industry and energy are ongoing.

During the meeting, the efforts to end the war between Ukraine and Russia were also discussed. Erdoğan expressed that Bulgaria's sensitive policy on this matter is closely monitored.

President Erdoğan also congratulated Radev on his upcoming birthday during the conversation. Such diplomatic meetings are said to strengthen the friendship between the two countries.
