MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made significant statements on the anniversary of Istanbul's conquest.

Bahçeli stated that the condemnation of Istanbul to a spiral of corruption is a great wound. "Istanbul is the crown jewel of Turkish-Islamic civilization," he said.

He noted that those who fail to understand the spirit of the conquest have lined up to take revenge for the magnificent victory 572 years ago, emphasizing that these efforts are in vain.

Bahçeli expressed his belief that we will overcome the challenges by holding on to the legacy of Istanbul's conquest. "Our national unity and solidarity will be a tree that spans centuries," he stated.
