Trade Minister Ömer Bolat conducted an important meeting with US Trade Secretary Howard Lutnick. This meeting was held to strengthen trade relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, a strong commitment to increase the trade volume between the two countries was emphasized. The goal is to reach an annual trade volume of 100 billion dollars.

Minister Bolat stated that cooperation should be increased in various fields such as energy, automotive, agriculture, and digital economy. US officials also emphasized Turkey's importance as a trade partner.

Following the meeting, it was announced that the upcoming Trade and Investment Council meeting will take place next month in Washington D.C.
