A water crisis is happening in Edirne! Mayor Filiz Gencan announced that the water level has dropped to critical levels.

The water level in Kayalıköy Dam is alarming. The filling rate has dropped to 8%. Gencan stated that special equipment has been activated to transfer the remaining water to the city network.

The Edirne Municipality has mobilized all technical resources to use the existing water efficiently. Gencan expressed that they expect citizens to be sensitive about water conservation.
