Istanbul Governor Davut Gül announced the latest security report. Assets worth 296 billion lira have been seized in the past nine months. This is seen as part of efforts to enhance Istanbul's security.

Governor Gül stated that 1341 people were arrested and the number of operations against criminal organizations increased by 12%. Significant progress has also been made in the fight against drugs.

The amount of seized drugs has doubled, while the quantity of cannabis has reached 25,667 plants. Inspections around schools are continuing to increase.

Privatization efforts are also underway in six districts of Istanbul. Nine properties owned by the Treasury will be privatized using various methods.
