Mansur Yavaş has surpassed President Erdoğan in recent polls. This situation is drawing attention alongside the latest developments in Ankara Municipality.

Recently, allegations regarding concerts at Ankara Municipality and subsequent detentions have increased comments about Yavaş being targeted. CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated that this situation aims to harm Yavaş and the CHP.

At an iftar program in Elmadağ Municipality, Yavaş expressed that the districts of Ankara are not benefiting from central incentives. He also addressed the events surrounding his candidacy process for the presidency.

Yavaş stated that he would reassess the situation when the time for elections comes, given the positive results in the polls. He emphasized the importance of the CHP acting as a whole during this process.

Yavaş announced that he would continue to work to increase public satisfaction and take steps to address Ankara's needs. In this context, he highlighted that the path to power for the CHP goes through local governance.
