Ekrem İmamoğlu's Order: No Price Increase for Bread!

No price increase for bread in Istanbul! Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu has ordered that Halk Ekmek will continue to sell bread for 8 TL.
While bread prices are rising in Izmir, in Istanbul, the price of Halk Ekmek will remain unchanged. Ali Kamış, the manager of Halk Ekmek Factory, stated, "Given the current economic situation, we will continue to provide bread at 8 TL as per the mayor's instructions."
Despite the decision of the Izmir Bakers' Association to sell bread for 15 TL, this will not change in Istanbul due to İmamoğlu's order. The Halk Ekmek factory in Istanbul has a production capacity of 160,000 loaves per day.
Keeping bread prices stable in Istanbul will alleviate the public's economic struggles. This situation is seen as a reflection of İmamoğlu's pro-public policies.
