The environmental disaster at Erikli beach in Edirne's Keşan district has drawn public outrage. Saros Volunteers highlighted the threat to public health posed by human waste visible on the water's surface.

Mürşide Çoban stated that the outdated treatment system has not been renewed due to lack of financial support, leading to increased water pollution.

Çoban emphasized that public health is under serious threat, with outbreaks of infectious diseases reported. Children are particularly affected, leading to hospital visits.

Calls were made for authorities to address this issue urgently. Çoban requested that all relevant institutions take immediate action to resolve the problem.
