Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoğlu is scheduled to appear in court on October 22. This trial is part of the case regarding allegations of insulting a public official.

Imamoğlu faces a sentence of 9 months to 4 years and 1 month in prison for the charges. The trial will take place at Silivri Prison.
