CHP announced it will not join the constitutional amendment table!

While the People's Alliance continues its work on a new constitution, a striking statement came from CHP. CHP Deputy Group Chairman Gökhan Günaydın stated that the current constitution is undemocratic and cannot be changed with AKP and MHP.

Günaydın emphasized, "The Republican People's Party will not join a constitutional amendment table. We have clearly stated this." He also pointed out that the constitution needs significant changes.

Recalling that elections have always followed referendums in Turkey, Günaydın stated that CHP would not participate in this process. He firmly declared, "We do not make a Menemen."
