CHP Leader Özgür Özel delivered an energetic speech at the Başakşehir rally, starting with the motto "The people are standing up for their will." He emphasized opposition to the Kanal Istanbul project.

Özel criticized the operations against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and highlighted Ekrem İmamoğlu's stance against the project. He claimed that the cost of Kanal Istanbul is 65 billion dollars, which could be used to build social housing.

Özel stressed the importance of the people's will for early elections, stating, "You can't face us, you can't put the ballot box down." The rally also featured remarks from CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Özgür Çelik.

He reiterated CHP's support for Ekrem İmamoğlu, saying, "CHP's A plan, B plan, and C plan is Ekrem İmamoğlu." Messages of unity and solidarity were conveyed at the rally.
