An arrest decision has been made regarding Ekrem İmamoğlu's lawyer. This situation arose with the request for the arrest of İmamoğlu's lawyer's lawyer, Yiğit Gökçehan Koçoğlu.

İmamoğlu's lawyer, Mehmet Pehlivan, stated that Koçoğlu has been referred to the peace court for arrest. These developments occurred within the framework of the ongoing investigation against İBB.

Pehlivan mentioned that Koçoğlu is currently in Adıyaman and is representing families who lost their children in the February 6 earthquake. He emphasized that the pursuit of justice will continue during this process.

The Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office issued arrest warrants for 100 individuals, including İmamoğlu. The charges include bribery, fraud, and forming a criminal organization.
