Zafer A. set fire to his house after his wife filed for divorce. The incident occurred in Palandöken.

The fire broke out around 10 PM last night, with thick smoke rising from the basement apartment. Residents immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.

Firefighters arrived on the scene and worked hard to extinguish the flames. The fire was brought under control after an hour of effort.

It was determined that the fire was started by Zafer A., who is in the process of divorce. His wife Ayşe A. reported the situation to the police and filed a complaint against him.

Zafer A. attempted to flee the scene but was caught. It was learned that the couple had been married for 32 years and have 3 children. The investigation is ongoing.
