A storm and strong wind warning has been issued for the Black Sea!

The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced strong winds and storms expected in the Central and Eastern Black Sea regions. Wind speeds are forecasted to reach 50-70 km/h along the coast and 70-90 km/h in higher areas.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected along the coasts of Giresun and Trabzon. Citizens are advised to be cautious of sudden floods, waterlogging, and disruptions in transportation.

Meteorology officials stated that winds are expected to blow at a force of 6 to 8, which may negatively affect sea and land transportation. It is emphasized that caution is needed, especially in coastal and seaside activities.
