A storm warning has been issued for the Black Sea!

The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts strong winds and storms for the Central and Eastern Black Sea. Wind speeds are expected to reach 50-70 kilometers per hour along the coast and 70-90 kilometers in higher areas. This situation may negatively affect sea and land transportation.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are expected along the coasts of Giresun and Trabzon. Citizens are advised to be cautious against sudden floods, water accumulation, and transportation disruptions.

Meteorology officials stated that winds are expected to blow at a force of 6 to 8, which may negatively impact residents in coastal areas. It is recommended to be careful, especially during activities near the coast and sea.

The storm is expected to start on Tuesday, October 7, at 2 PM and last until Wednesday, October 8, at 6 PM. During this period, it is crucial for citizens to take precautions.
