Earthquake and Tsunami Warnings in Taiwan!

A 7 magnitude earthquake occurred in Taiwan!
According to the Central Weather Bureau (CWA), the earthquake's epicenter is located 32.3 kilometers east of Yilan city center. Recorded at a depth of 72.8 kilometers, this tremor was felt in many areas of the island. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties or damage.

However, a 7.5 magnitude earthquake in Chile has prompted tsunami warnings. This situation highlights the effects of earthquakes and natural disasters worldwide once again.

Taiwan is located at the junction of two tectonic plates, making it prone to earthquakes. Past major earthquakes have prepared the public for such natural disasters.
To ensure public safety, authorities continuously provide information and develop emergency plans. Such events present an important opportunity to enhance community resilience.
