Earthquakes and Tsunami Warnings in Taiwan

Recent earthquakes in Taiwan have put the island's residents on alert. The 7 magnitude tremors were felt not only in Yilan but also along other coasts of the island.
The Central Weather Bureau reported that the earthquakes were recorded at a depth of 72.8 kilometers, with no casualties or damage reported. However, tsunami warnings following such tremors are noteworthy.
Taiwan is located at the junction of two tectonic plates, which is why earthquakes are frequent. A significant earthquake in 2016 resulted in over 100 fatalities.
A similar situation occurred in Chile, where a 7.5 magnitude earthquake prompted tsunami warnings. Such events remind us of the dangers posed by natural disasters worldwide.

In the face of such natural disasters, it is crucial for the public to remain vigilant and heed the warnings of authorities. Taking precautions is a critical step in preventing loss of life.
