A forest fire has broken out in Izmir Aliağa and response efforts are ongoing!

The fire started near Bozköy neighborhood in Aliağa. 60 citizens have been evacuated from 12 houses. Governor Süleyman Elban stated that both aerial and ground responses are being conducted.

The response includes 7 planes, 14 helicopters, 24 water trucks, and 16 water supply vehicles. It is believed that the fire started from electrical wires.
