The arrest warrant for Ayşe Barım has been lifted!

Istanbul 27th Heavy Penal Court lifted the arrest warrant for Ayşe Barım due to her health condition. She was released under judicial control as it was stated that she needed to be treated in a hospital.

The court noted that Barım's prison conditions were unsuitable due to her brain and heart issues. This decision was based on the report from the Forensic Medicine Institution.

Barım was released with conditions of 'not leaving her residence' and 'prohibition of leaving the country'. This occurred because the court believed that the judicial control measures would be sufficient.

Previously, an arrest warrant had been issued for Barım. However, considering her health condition, this decision was lifted.
