Important developments have occurred in the missing cousins case in Elazig. 5 individuals have been arrested!

26-year-old Mustafa Yilmaz married his relative N.N.Y. and then went missing. Following this, his cousin Onur Yilmaz also disappeared. The family reported the situation to the police, leading to an investigation.

On February 2, 2023, an operation was conducted where 12 individuals were detained, and 5 were arrested. After some time, another operation was carried out, leading to the detention of 12 more suspects.

In the latest operation, 8 suspects were sent to court, and 5 were arrested, raising the number of detainees in the case to 10.

The Elazig Governor stated that security forces are working diligently to ensure public safety and that necessary precautions are being taken.
