The number of passengers traveling by air reached 108.8 million in 6 months!

Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced the data from the General Directorate of State Airports. Domestic flights saw 9 million 298 thousand passengers, while international flights had 14 million 80 thousand.

Istanbul Airport served 39 million passengers. The flight traffic reached 58 thousand for domestic and 201 thousand for international flights.

Sabiha Gokcen Airport also recorded a total of 22 million passengers. Cargo traffic at airports has also shown significant growth.

Tourism centers welcomed 23 million passengers in 6 months. The number of air travelers is increasing every day!
