Exciting developments are happening regarding pension increases!

Work has begun to determine the lowest pension amount, which affects millions of retirees. AK Party Group Vice President Leyla Şahin Usta announced that studies are ongoing for the lowest pension that concerns 4 million retirees.

With the last increase, the lowest pension rose to 14,469 TL. The new increase rate will be finalized with the inflation figures announced in June.

If inflation comes in at around 1.5%, the lowest pension could rise to 16,901 TL. However, the decisions made by the government will also be crucial in this process.

For the pension increase to take effect, a law must pass through the Parliament. This law needs to be approved and published in the Official Gazette.

The increase in pensions will depend on inflation rates and the decisions made by the government. Announcements to be made in July will be decisive in this regard.
