Operations Against Criminal Organizations: 12 Arrests and More

Recent operations across Turkey targeting criminal organizations have drawn attention. 12 individuals were arrested in operations conducted in 4 provinces.
In an operation centered in Bilecik, 16 suspects were detained for committing fraud by posing as police and prosecutors. The investigation is being carried out by the Bilecik Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
During the operations, illegal gains amounting to 58 million 350 thousand lira were seized, along with 4 handguns, 130 thousand 150 lira, 39 thousand 700 dollars, and numerous digital materials.
In a similar operation in Kütahya, 13 suspects were arrested. This operation was carried out as part of the fight against organized crime.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya emphasized the importance of these operations for public safety. He stated that the state will continue its fight against crime with all its institutions.
