Victory Party leader Ümit Özdağ paid a thank you visit to Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş. This visit took place after Özdağ's 149-day detention.

Özdağ expressed his gratitude for Yavaş's support and mentioned that his mother was very emotional. 'Mansur Bey was there for my family,' he said.

Mansur Yavaş also visited Özdağ's mother, Gönül Özdağ. This visit was seen as a beautiful example of political solidarity.

Yavaş stated that Özdağ's release was a manifestation of justice. 'The law should operate according to universal norms,' he said.
