Climate change and global warming are among the most discussed topics today. Temperatures are expected to rise six to nine degrees above seasonal norms.

According to information from the General Directorate of Meteorology, temperatures will start to rise rapidly from Tuesday, beginning in the west. The western and southern regions will be more affected by this temperature increase.

In Ankara, temperatures will reach 34 degrees, in Istanbul 35 degrees, and in Izmir, it is expected to reach 39 degrees. In the Southeast Anatolia Region, temperatures may reach 41-42 degrees.

This hot air wave will be effective in many parts of our country. Citizens are advised to avoid going out during midday hours and to protect themselves from the sun.
