The US will pay immigrant children $2,500 to return to their countries!

President Donald Trump's administration announced that children aged 14 and older will receive $2,500 to voluntarily return to their countries. This offer was mentioned in an email sent to immigrant shelters.

Children are given 24 hours to respond, while the implementation date of the offer has not yet been announced. Shelter managers were asked to approve the offer within four hours.

The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) stated that the offer will initially apply to children aged 17. The payment will be made after the relevant judge accepts the request.

Emails have also begun to be sent to immigrants whose legal statuses have previously been revoked, stating that they must leave the country. Those who initiate departure procedures will receive travel assistance and $1,000 upon arrival in their countries.
